Most browsers have built in accessibility features such as the ability to increase the size of fonts, change the colour of the text and to turn off images and style-sheets. For full details, visit the accessibility websites of your respective web-browser:
Increasing text size
Text size can be easily increased in most browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer: go to the View menu, select Text Size and then either Larger or Largest.
- Mozilla Firefox: go to the View menu, select Text Size and then select Increase. The same effect can be achieved by using the keyboard shortcut keys; Ctrl and + (at the same time).
Increasing Zoom Level
Most browsers allow the page to be viewed at a higher zoom level than the normal 100%. Ctrl and the plus or minus key increases and decreases the zoom level and Ctrl 0 usually resets it back to default of 100%.
