Job Evaluation personal notification letter - Message to all staff

The following is the text of a letter send out by the Devon County Council's Information Team on 21 Nov 06

Dear Colleague

Devon County Council's Job Evaluation project, which aims to tackle inequalities in the workplace by rewarding equal pay for work of equal value, is reaching the notification stage. Further to the release of the Job Evaluation Information Booklet, your personal Job Evaluation notification letter will be issued during Wed 29 and Thur 30 Nov 06. It will contain details of your new grade, new full time equivalent salary and new spinal column point together with the GLPC scheme profile line for the job.

The letters will be issued through the payroll system, so you will receive your letter in the same way as you normally receive your pay slip. Please do look out for this important information and keep it safe.

By referring to the Job Evaluation Information Booklet, which you should have received this week, you will be able to find out more about how you are affected by Job Evaluation and how to get any further help or advice.

In the meantime if you have any concerns or you have not received an Information Booklet, please contact your line manager for assistance.
