Where there’s a will, there’s a way with UNISON
Death is a topic that none of us particularly like to dwell on. But if you die without a will your loved-ones may not inherit your assets in the way you would want them to. So, if you haven’t got round to making a will yet, read on to find out more about UNISON’s free will making service for members.
Everyone should make a will. If you don’t make a will there is a danger that those people you would have wanted to look after your affairs and to benefit from your estate will not do so. Making a will should ensure that there are no legal complications for your loved-ones to have to deal with should you die suddenly – and that you don’t pay unnecessary taxes to the Government!
UNISON provides a free on-line will drafting service for members (and their partners if drawing up mirror wills) through their legal experts, Thompson Solicitors, who have over 90 years’ experience of representing the interests of trade union members. Thompson’s Solicitors draft your will from the information you provide in an on-line questionnaire, so you don’t even have to visit a solicitor!
